EQUIPMENT

Narrandera Shire Council is pleased to announce the upcoming installation of new play equipment at Marie Bashir Park. In line with our ongoing dedication to creating safe, inclusive and enjoyable recreational spaces for our community, this new addition will further enhance the park's facilities for families and children.

The new features will include an accessible carousel, a twin skyrider, trampolines, and rubber balancing spheres, all designed to provide a diverse and engaging play experience for visitors of all ages.

To facilitate the installation process, the flying fox and adjacent areas of Marie Bashir Park will be temporarily closed from 29 January 2024 for approximately three weeks. During this time, visitors are kindly requested to avoid the closed areas and to observe any on-site safety signage and instructions as excavators and other machinery will be operating in the park.

This endeavour reflects the council's commitment to investment in the well-being of our community and signifies our dedication to providing high-quality recreational opportunities for residents and visitors alike. We sincerely appreciate the community's cooperation and understanding during this temporary closure.

We are excited to unveil the new play equipment and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to the rejuvenated Marie Bashir Park soon.
