Council Committees Overview

Council operations cover many aspects of the Shire. We often seek help from the community and volunteers to advise and manage through Council committees. Each committee elects a chairperson and includes a Councillor. To become a member of a committee you can reach out to a current member and request to be nominated.

Arts and Culture Committee
The Arts and Culture Committee was formed to manage the operation of the Parkside Cottage Museum and Arts and Community

The Grong Grong Community Committee was formed to manage various community areas in Grong Grong.
Koala Regeneration Committee
The Koala Regeneration Committee was formed to oversee in conjunction with National Parks and Wil
Lake Talbot Environs Advisory Committee
The committee was formed to provide assistance to Council in managing Lake Talbot and the environs.
Narrandera Stadium Advisory Committee
The committee was formed to provide assistance to Council in managing the Narrandera Stadium and outdoor courts through
Parkside Cottage Museum Committee
This committee manages and operates the facility and also participates in the development of arts and cultural
Railway Station Facility Management Committee
The Railway Station Facility Management Committee was formed to manage the operations of the Railway Station
Audit Risk and Improvement Committee
The Audit Risk and Improvement Committee provide independent assurance and assistance to the Council on risk management
