We recognise the importance of community arts, cultural development and heritage to the community. Local Government organisations support arts and culture in their communities, through the provision of infrastructure such as galleries, libraries  and museums and through the co-ordination and support of events, festivals, public installations and  the preservation of local history and community stories.
