Have some Koality fun at Narrandera!

We are excited to celebrate Narrandera’s koala colony with the first ever Narrandera Koala Fest. The festival is dedicated to our furry friends who have a healthy growing population across the Flora and Fauna Reserve, koala regeneration area and surrounds.

This free event has loads of fun activities for everyone to enjoy. Throughout the day you can check out the koala and nature photography exhibition, take a guided tour of the koala habitat via shuttle from the Showground to Rocky Waterholes by the Narrandera Lions Club Bus, watch a live performance by children’s group Boomstars, enjoy a puppet show, then circus acts with fun interactive workshops in circus, art, and nature. Food and art stalls will be available, and free amusement rides for the kids including a climbing wall, jumping castles with slides and mechanical rides.

Stick around into the evening to enjoy a family bush dance with the Tin Shed Rattlers, and take a second opportunity to watch the puppet show, Boomstars and view the photography exhibition.

The festival is at Narrandera Showground on Saturday 17 September, with event gates opening at 10am, free entertainment between 11am until 4pm, and again from 5.30pm to 9pm.
