At the 20 June Council meeting, Council considered the Draft Active Transport Plan for exhibition purposes.

The key objective of the Active Transport Plan is to provide a long-term strategy and action plan for pedestrian and cycling infrastructure that is prioritised and provides the greatest benefit to the community. The Active Transport Plan will guide the development of practical, well-designed transport solutions that support the active transport needs of pedestrians and cyclists, including older people, pedestrians with mobility and vision impairments, residents, school children, tourists.

The document is now on exhibition from 9am Thursday 6 July 2023 and can be viewed on Council’s website or at Council’s Administration Centre at 141 East Street, Narrandera.

Written submissions are invited and will be received until 4pm Thursday 3 August 2023. 

Persons making submissions should note that all submissions will be provided to Councillors within the Ordinary business paper which is available to all members of the community.
